Todd’s life reads like an adventure novel—15 years spent sailing around the world without an engine, relying solely on the power of the wind and his sailing expertise. His voyage was more than just a journey across oceans; it was a quest to live in harmony with nature, learn from diverse cultures, and understand the environmental challenges we face globally.
As a skilled builder and educator, Todd has dedicated his life to creating sustainable solutions. From constructing floating homes to leading island boat expeditions, his work reflects a deep commitment to innovative, eco-friendly living. At EcoSphere Innovations, Todd channels his vast experience into inspiring the next generation of leaders, encouraging them to think creatively and embrace sustainability in all aspects of life.
Janet Belarmino Forney: The Everest Conqueror and Inspirational Educator
Janet’s journey to the top of the world as part of the first all-female team to traverse Mt. Everest from China to Nepal in 2007 is a testament to her resilience, leadership, and determination. Her experiences on Everest taught her invaluable lessons in teamwork, perseverance, and pushing beyond limits—lessons she now passionately shares with students at EcoSphere Innovations.
Before settling in Phuket, Janet and Todd were pioneers in the Philippines, where they owned and operated island boat expeditions, built floating homes, and delivered motivational talks to corporate audiences. They also organized educational events and platforms, spreading their message of sustainability and adventure throughout Southeast Asia. Now, at EcoSphere Innovations, Janet continues to inspire students to challenge themselves, embrace learning, and become responsible stewards of the environment.
